Re: Pop-up camp to open in Kruger National Park

This morning I read this very interesting article in the Sowetan - https://www.sowetanlive.co.za/sundayworld/lifestyle/2019-07-23-glam-kruger-camps ...

Re: Pop-up camp to open in Kruger National Park

Re: Impala Carcass Picked Up by Taxi??

I am in absolute agreement with RichPrins, having worked in the Kruger and other reserves for near 20 years as well as having experience in law enforcement, this was blatantly obvious against any and all rules, regulations and standing instructions. No visible logos or branding, non typical vehicle ...

Re: New Developments (camps, hides, picnic sites etc) as per Strategic Plan 2019/20 - 2023/24

Another interesting point, the new development listed as Mkuhlu Tented Camp (planned for 2023/2024 financial year, value R 5,000,000) total 40 beds or 10 tents, 4 bed - is this in competition with the tender that was placed for Nkuhlu Tented Camp and if not, suddenly the beds increased from 15 beds ...

Re: New Developments (camps, hides, picnic sites etc) as per Strategic Plan 2019/20 - 2023/24

Morning all, interesting topic re costs, I very much doubt the tented camps / flying camps are going to be more affordable, cheaper compared to the existing accommodation options. I studied the strategic plan this weekend and the costs allocated to the new developments ie new economy tents at lower ...
