Just found that Mugg and Bean, Debonairs and Wimpy are all part of the Famous Brands franchise anyway.

Going back to 1 franchise means the same menu in all camps again!

Heavy rain in Skukuza since before 0300. Not helped by the fact our rondavel is leaking! Heavy rain starting again now.

Cattle Baron has the franchise for the restaurant and fast food. Ciao (Pretoria) has Selati, and was running when we were there from 4 January.

Shop and coffee shop still open, just no kitchen

The closure dates for Skukuza have now been amended. Restaurant and fast food closed 1 March to 26 April. (8weeks). Salati is supposed to be open.
This period includes 1 long weekend (21 March), school holidays (29 Mar - 6 April) and Easter (18 - 21 April).

We have a booking in March and received the email yesterday with the closeure information both restaurant and fast food outlest. It works out to about 6 weeks per restaurant. No date is given for Salati other than saying it will/should be open when The Skukuza restaurant and fast food is closed. I ...

Can't wait to see that Wimpy sign at the crossroads to Lataba. Not forgetting the sign by the waterhole at Satara, world wide advertising.

We were also there yesterday, saw buffs at Otter bridge but no otter. Did see Northern Black Korhaan and Pin tailead Whydah starting to get its tail and plumage.
