Then towards the end of my stay in Aug 1985 we heard the graders as the new access road was prepared for tarring ... how the KNP has been ruined ...

There is no trace whatsoever of the camp , in 1985 / 8 ? there were 1 or 3 poles still lying on the ground that according to the trails ranger had been left there when the camp was demolished .
