Spoke to H. Gildenhuys at Ages, the group appointed
for the EIA.

He recognizes us as I&AP listed members on their
database. He explained that they were appointed
some time ago for this project. Since have not had
much response forthcoming from SANparks.

In fact applications still need to filed!!!

jb72 wrote:For anyone who is interested: I was at the tender briefing for the appointment of the professional team for the new hotel in Skukuza on Tuesday. It is not being called a hotel anymore, but rather a conference lodge. They would not give too much detail regarding the size etc, but did mention that the architectural designs are finished, and they are looking at appointing the remainder of the professional team asap. I heard rumours of the construction estimate being around R200 mil, but can't confirm this. The new "lodge" will be built in skukuza camp next to the conference centre. Unfortunately that is all they were willing to share. If we get appointed on the project I'll be sure to share all the news here..... -O -O -O
Comments like this seem rather odd!!! Unless I am used/abused or whatever!!

Can we please have some transparency/clarity here,.....

Since we know all these details about architectural
design then surely we can have detail on a developer???

I’m confused here H :-? I always thought that the developer was SANParks as they are paying for it, or have I missed something :-?

Who builds it is irrelevant IMO
