July 12 noon - Dirt road one to dirt road 2 via dirt road 234:

A long time no smell for me! It was a mom and calf, absolutely aware of us and difficult to photograph, compared to the other species later that day, if BC would synchronise a bit slower!

Then fish! Which I absolutely love!

The water was crystal clear, and the "beggar terapins" also approached...sad that the fish are also now beggars!

Then the new Mbyamiti Bridge...not too safe IMO, with the little "sidestops" not worth the trouble...

The circle of life, as the kingfisher sits on the rubble of the old bridge...

The roads there were great, I must say! There was a bit of rain earlier in the week! $O\/$ $O\/$ $O\/$

By this time Destroyer and I were into the Johnny Clegg and Graceland...I know you purists may frown upon that!

But it was good to back on the plains...."Scatterlings...."

Then an ellie herd, notice the flood erosion!

Missed the BC clan, as they were out on some leopard excursion.... -O But booked in and sat still for a bit...a good move!

One more episode before the Cavebrowns!
