It 's not typical behavior, kill two and not even start swallow one of them ,does not sound normal. But it still is a sad story.

“This is just one vicious animal,” Kenneth Krysko, a herpetologist at the Florida Museum of Natural History in Gainesville, said in a 2009 National Geographic article. He said African pythons are “so mean they come out of the egg striking.” which one is vicious

Not sure how recent this one is, but Bushcraft found it on the net - thought we should share this here:
A female African elephant charges into a vehicle in the Kruger national park in South Africa. Johann Lombard, who has 23 years of experience as a professional safari guide, filmed the incident and says neither the elephant or anyone in the vehicle was harmed. Lombard says it is unusual for elephants to charge vehicles in this manner.

Re: Dangerous Animal Incidents
It is unusual indeed...doesn't look like he's stopped in a game path, for example?
The smaller cow may be a bit more inexperienced and got psyched up while charging with the bigger ones, also seems to have lost a tusk...maybe sore?
Weird!

Re: Dangerous Animal Incidents
A thought ... would the demolishing of waterholes, and a result of less water,
cause the ellies to be more aggresive. Someone mentioned how dependant they were on water.
If this is the case, we might even see this happening more and more. Only guessing.
