Thanks to all for the lovely compliments.

Here are some more of our garden birds taken over the past few days PLUS another first.

I think this is a Scarlet-chested sunbird.








Could this be his S.O. or a chick.

I had seen this fellow in my garden twice before but never had the camera available. Today I was ready.

African olive pigeon.




Then he flew off before I could set the camera shooting speed.


I also saw my first two swallows yesterday so summer is on the way together with the birds that come with it.

The sunbird is not a scarlet-chested one, not sure what it is, I am only good at knowing what it is not but would think: Amethyst -O

Thanks everybody. You make feel like I have an aviary in my garden. I must say that it is so nice to out and see and listen to all the different birds and their chatter.
