Thanks to all for the lovely compliments.

Here are some more of our garden birds taken over the past few days PLUS another first.

I think this is a Scarlet-chested sunbird.

I had seen this fellow in my garden twice before but never had the camera available. Today I was ready.

African olive pigeon.

Then he flew off before I could set the camera shooting speed.

I also saw my first two swallows yesterday so summer is on the way together with the birds that come with it.

Wow, these are lovely birds and again great photos O\/ O\/ O\/ O\/

The sunbird is not a scarlet-chested one, not sure what it is, I am only good at knowing what it is not =O: but would think: Amethyst -O

Thanks everybody. You make feel like I have an aviary in my garden. I must say that it is so nice to out and see and listen to all the different birds and their chatter.
