Alright, I'm not sure which day it is anymore, so let me post pics from the Saturday morning drive. ;-)

After some well deserved coffee, we got the girls up and headed in to the park. Our plan was to go past Mankwe Dam and then have breakfast at the centre. Still on the main strip we spotted this chap.

Image

We then tried the route to the south, about half way along I got an sms from the iLama. It mentioned something about lions, the centre, 2Km's and Tau Link. :-? Slight, very confused we headed towards Tau Link in the hope of finding Tau. Nothing, nada, niks!! We did find what we thought the iLama might have mistaken for a lion...

Image

Apart from these pigs, no lion anywhere. 0*\ We were now getting hungry and the girls were complaining of bladder problems and the call was to head straight to the centre. Not much further, a sign saying, Tlou Loop. This could be the road in the sms, slightly lost in translation. So we gave it a bash, just after 2Km we saw cars. There was a cool spot to park in just ahead of the message sender. Once at rest we saw two male lions at rest, lying there doing nothing. We waited for a short few minutes and then noticed a herd of wildebeest coming closer. It was hopefully time for action. Soon both lions were alert and the first on moved to a new position.

Image

Not long after that, the second lion took cover behind a bush. In this pic he is creeping into cover.

Then, suddenly, all hell broke loose as the two started the chase. It was over in the blink of an eye, and they had missed. 0*\

It was now time to quieten the girls bladder issues and enjoy a good breakfast at the centre. X#X

To you and to you and especially to you - THANKS VERY MUCH BEING AT THIS MEET. You all know who you are - I hope.

To the others that could not make it enjoy reading all about the wild goings on that took place.

I see BB has taken his duty very diligently, for which we thank you, with other mites adding their pics and comments.

From our side it was such a pleasure to meet everybody and make new friends.

An amazing two evenings it was indeed so our sincere thanks to all for your hospitality.

We are busy going though all our photos and should be able to join in the fun and games pretty soon.

We had loads of fun and laughter, just being silly and laughing about nothing.

Seeing these Zebbies reminded me so much of our meet - hope you all get an idea of the singing brothers,
the tired LO, and me packing out teeth.. -O -O and the quite Carol just watching .....

Sorry for the overload ^0^
