Hi
Are we sure with the ID of this one?
According to the KNP list there are these ones and they look all more or less alike
Colotis amata calais
Colotis antevippe gavisa
Colotis auxo
Colotis celimene amina
Colotis danae annae
Colotis euippe omphale
Colotis evagore antigone Small Orange Tip (which I think it is )
Colotis evenina evenina Common Orange Tip
Colotis ione
Colotis pallene
Colotis regina
Colotis vesta argillaceus
"The black spot in M3 of at the basal edge of the orange tip is diagnostic" says sb on iSpot for Small Orange Tip
Here a confirmed one which looks like this
http://vmus.adu.org.za/vm_view_record.p ... 31&recNo=6
And this might be the
Colotis evenina evenina Common Orange Tip
or the
Colotis antevippe gavisa Red Tip
or perhaps
Colotis euippe omphale Smoky Orange Tip
They are all seasonally polymorphic
