Wow Duke your bird photos are fantastic BUT your proteas are even better.

I have been trying to grow a protea but it keeps dying on me.

We planted six species of proteas and four ericas in the garden but two proteas died and the four are growing very well. I am exceptionally happy about the king protea flowering earlier this year

Three of the ericas died but the one seems very happy in his spot.

we put them in the cimetery for the whole winter season
