Brilliant pics, all!
With all that grass, one literally has no clue what is around the next corner!
(Which is exciting!)
Then when some areas burn down, one can see the landscape clearly...and it's entirely different when the new bright green grass shoots start up!
Never seen a cat there, other than a small leopard in the road in the rain at the Manungu crossroads 20 years ago!

The Cheetah was indeed a huge surprise. Even the guide that took us on the sunset drive could not believe his eyes -O

I must admit - I never got to see the faai spruit.. -O -O
Some more sightings - I tend to look for other things when I don't find leopard, lion or wild dog..

Lionesses often put their cubs into koppies! This looks like a group effort!

Manungu crossroads:
Western part of Manungu loop:
It was really a veritable animal around every corner thing, you get that perfect area, new grass, weather, time of day scenario once every so often!
Faai stream drift:
Still beautiful!

Then a very unusual spotting in the road a bit further on!
Seems this leguaan had just laid eggs, and spent ages scratching sand around a little cleared area!
Will put video up under relevant reptile thread!
