I'm enjoying this forward and backward drive - even an emergency reverse ( sounds like a Bells moment!) -O -O

I'm enjoying PW - something about identifying with his vast, uhmmm... knowledge -O -O

Hilarious... keep it coming. \O

Day 5 Part 1:

On the way to Kloppies, some old friends!

Image

RP: "Helloooo! Long time! How're they hanging! Never seen you guys near here before! Kudos!\O "

Baboon: "If you've never seen us here before, how does that make us old friends?"

RP: "No, I mean old friends as in same species, sort of?!:?"

Baboon: "I don't know about YOUR species, but our species actually meet before being friends... :O^ "

PW: "Ooh, Kudos!"

RP: "No! Kudos is a complimentary term, not an animal!O/"

Baboon: "Oh, so now we're just animals?"

RP: "Yes!...No! You see, I'm a sort of baboon myself! I'm world famous, and use a baboon as an avatar!"

Baboon: "Yes, we've heard about that, which is why we are keeping our legs closed..."

RP: "Don't worry! I have a new avatar!"

Baboon: "I think we'll not take a chance...Good Day, Sir!"

PW: "What is an avatar?"

RP: "No! Wait! Look, my legs are closed! I'm only fingering! It's a human thing!! "

PW: "Ok...I don't want to know...let's just go... :O^ "

Having newly arrived at Klopperfontein, I decided to do some artistic photography:

PW: "Aha! Kudus!\O"

RP: "At last! I thought you'd never identify an antelope correctly in your life! \O "

PW "Pleasure! It's a complimentary term for your excellent butchbuck pics! Very well done!"

Thanks, everyone!

Interlude: Uncle Blacksheep

Uncle Blacksheep and his lovely wife, Lady Blacksheep, were newcomers to this family event. He is a computer specialist/fresh produce grader, no jokes!

He specialises in getting his shop cleaned out by thieves, and getting lost in Kruger.

Many moons ago, he left Punda at the crack of dawn to catch en executive business flight connection from Messina to Cape town.

We all left the camp a few hours later, only to encounter UB haring North past us, as he had inadvertantly gone down to Shinwedzi instead of up to Pafuri Gate!

(He just made the flight)

This year was to be his moment of glory, however:

UB: "Must do something right. Must do something right. Must do something right......"

LB: "Relax, dear! Enjoy the view! RP and the others are all gone somewhere..."

UB: "Must see something...must see something..."

LB: "And you haven't even injured yourself, like the others..."

UB: "AHA!!!"

And this very rare shot along the Pafuri river loop:

I'm only glad Prinswilliam didn't see this eland, as I have no idea what he would have christened it! O/

Did it never raise the head :? or did you find it more artistic with the head buried in a mountain of earth  It's a nice pic though \O
