Possible Flooding in Kruger!

Post by leachy »

:-) :-) :-) :-)

taken from sanparks f/b..

"The southern part of Kruger rivers are swelling fast especially the perennial ones due to some heavy pours since 2h00 am. We urge visitors to be careful on dirt roads as most low level bridges are highly over flown. Roads such as S137, H5, S28 are not fully accessible due to flooding. Some are still accessible but not recommended for small & none 4x4 vehicles due to slippery & high water dams on dirt roads."

just made comms with heksie..

she went from croc bridge to satara this morning..

rain all the way and water water everywhere........

she reckons all the dirt roads are closed....

It sure looks like the flooding is early this season, even here in Phala.

It hasn't stopped pouring down since early this morning, my yard looks like a dam. Can hardly even listen to music with the rain being so loud.
