Re: special moments
I have done it once in KTP, but it was not very interesting. Probably better in Kruger, because you have the green scenery, water streams and a bigger choice of animals, insects, flowers etc.

You were obviously luckier than I was. All I saw was a tortoise and a lion spoor

Lovely scenery and your pictures proofed once again that the landscape around mopani between the millions of mopane bushes can have indeed a great variety

Re: special moments
During my last few trips to Kruger I always did at a walk and never was dissappointed. But being the only guest was indeed a privileg you probably only have once in your life
When we came back from the walk it became hot again and I spent a good part of the day in the camp and enjoyed the view from the deck and the swimming pool During my afternoon drive I got a few more pics of the animals you can see regularly in the area. But still it's always worth to stop for them
The next morning I did my usual Mopani routine. First I was looking for the leopard near Shipandani (as usual without success), then I was going on the Tropic of Cap - loop. And once again it was a very productive drive. It started with a small family of Reedbucks (2 females and one male a few meters nearby). It was the very first time that I saw Reedbucks in the North of Kruger and was very happy about it
Then I followed the road to Big T., where I saw some more animals that I have never seen on this loop before
