Anyway...

We carried on the next morning, destined to meet leachy at Mlondozi for brunch, and did the S-128 as promised!

Right!

This weekend's trip with Prinsadam, my brother....just a one-nighter at Skuks, but great fun and lovely scenery...the Park is beautiful at the moment! \O

Poor boet had been driving in the heavy storm all the way from Middelburg on Friday afternoon...and it just got worse as we made our way to Hazyview... O-/

Fortunately he has a brand-new Fortuner, named Sir Chubby, for some reason..what a vehicle! ^Q^ ^Q^ ^Q^ O\/ \O :ty:

We were intent on Phabeni, but on a gut instinct I suggested going down to Numbi instead...an easy 5km to the turnoff with a brand new road! ..0.. \O

No lines yet, but a good route!

Still storming at Numbi...so we had to decide who was going to reception...fortunately Pa needed the loo!

I was a bit sad for my brother, as it was a one-nighter, and driving in the rain would make the long trip a bit useless....but lo and behold! Sun came out right then! :ty:

And off we went! (One thing was, nobody was searched at all, coming in or out, that I saw... :-? )

Anyway...real paradise!

We did a brief bit of dirt around Pretoriuskop...more vistas. Back in the bush. O/\

Amazing photos after the rain.

Please pass on greeting to Prinsadam et al.
