Just a reminder, from SP's 2012-13 report:

Malelane Safari Lodge in the Kruger National Park – Significant progress
was made with the Environmental Impact Assessment, with the draft
Amended Scoping Report distributed for comments. It is anticipated
that the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) will be concluded by
July 2013 where-after construction will commence;

I seem to believe that we have just reached that stage now! I am told
the next stage, EIA, should be concluded +- April sometime and if not
will be brought forward to aug or whatever,...seems this process is
subject to time frames,...

I don't know more than you do, on the contrary, but it seems that the hotel business is proceeding.............it is only late a year or so -O-

Unfortunately I deleted the e-mail from Derek by mistake before reading the attached documents 0*\ Could one of you kindly forward it to me. It seems that Sprocky is not capable of posting them.

For what it may be worth,.. I was also told that the person
.gov representative, handling this scoping report, upholds
high ethical standards and is a very qualified person that
will handle this issue,... So the Malelane Safari Lodge
debacle, looking at it from all angles, interested and
affected parties, including developer, is in safe hands!!!!

So, let's give Dereck Millburn and Peter Velcich & Co.
a thumbs -up for just shear resilience!!!!!... \O \O

These 'okes got beaten -up in the process,....

The Malelane Hotel was conceived officially in 2009, but probably before that! :-)
