When we arrived at Elephant Plains we had to do some paperwork...got the key to our cottage and had to hand over our car keys(no solo driving is allowed until you leave the camp returning home)
Much to our surprise we got Lion room which was located right in front of the Elephant Plains Waterhole which had the webcam I will post some pictures of the camp and the cottage later.
Just a teaser for now to give you all a small idea.

Because we arrived at Lunch time, we could join the lunch after settling down.
After lunch we had some time to relax, but being used to going out for drives all the time I soon got bored.
I was happy when the time came that we could board the Safari truck for our first Guided Game Drive, wonder what we would see.
The first part of the drive we saw common game... the drive was very different from driving in KNP or any other park(they weren't used to having guests spotting all the animals, we had to wait until the spotter had found them before they allowed us to call ).
We turned towards Big Dam because our tracker had found some tracks......
They belonged to a predator.......a Leopard....
At Big Dam we saw some Waterbuck and......Lamula a big male Leopard.....wandering behind the Waterbuck not really trying to catch them but it looked as if he was stalking them.
The water buck jumped aside and Lamula continued his walk on the dam road.
WOW! What a leopard sighting ( He probaböy gets fed at the same place every day. He was not even interested in the waterbucks and it was in the afternoon
