So you got a room with a view!
I'll easily believe that this was your best leopard sighting ever. So close!

Wow, what a fantastic leopard sighting!!
It really looks lovely but not being able to self-drive is not for me.

First Day Elephant Plains Game Drive part 2
Sorry for the delay....it has been very busy at work and other important matters had to get some attention.....but we will continue our Game Drive.
Thank you all for your kind comments
After we had seen Lamula....we drove on and saw some wonderful animals....suddenly the guide got a message that they had spotted a pride of Lions with a kill just on the boundary of our section of Sabi Sands.
In Sabi Sands you are not allowed to cross all the boundary's and drive through the whole park, Sabi Sands is divided in many sections owned by many different people. If you do cross the boundary you may get arrested and go to jail.
So we rushed to see the kill there was little time left because it was already getting dark.
We we drove through the sandbank and met the first group of Lions, being lazy.
Some Lions had already eaten from the kill.
We heard that the kill was on the hill so we drove towards the kill.
It was a fantastic sighting(too bad there wasn't enough light so we couldn't use the big lens, maybe next time when we have the 70-200m 2.8 we will be able to make more photos).
We made a video of the Lions eating the kill.
We drove back to camp and enjoyed a wonderful meal at the campfire with music and dance.
When we came back to our room we watched the waterhole to see if the regular Leopard would appear, but we didn't see it.....
We went to sleep to get a good night rest and to be ready for the early morning drive.
