True okie. Do you include Sanparks FB Kruger page in that? The sycophants are there too. I blocked so many people as a result of conversations on that page that I eventually left the group and now it is a closed group so can't see anything on there either. O** Not sure what the best 'media' form is for robust discussion?

I do not subscribe to any FB anywhere . I just do not have the time or inclinations to tell everyone everywhere whatever I see and do , etc etc . ;-)

In any event , I have seen in statements by SP , where it appears that they may be responding to comments / criticisms from "outsiders " such as Aikona , but where at that time there was no discussion or anything at all in that direction by SPF .
That tells me that SP indeed DO ( sometimes at least ) take note of what is happening OUTSIDE their own forum/discussion groups .
In fact , I think since they have full control of their own forum , they are not worried at all about what may be said there , because they know that any comments and criticisms against them will be dealt with speedily by being rudely and without reason deleted , etc ( which is what happened to me on a number of occasions ) .

The truth is the truth and it can’t be deleted if it’s the truth and that applies to any forum. If the truth (not an opinion) is deleted then the entire forum membership will lose faith in that forum, so therefore the truth about these trucks won’t be deleted (provided that’s its fact)

(provided that’s its fact)
And that's the main problem, BC: They will definitely question the credibility of the statement and demand proof.
Even if one of the truck drivers 'testified', the SPF mods will most likely ask to see (written) back up of it.
And if they can't delete, they'll lock the discussion until further convenience. 0'

Also, I think we need to be careful with passing on hearsay as a fact.
Not trying to say that Gipetto is lying, but we cannot jump on every statement here and treat it as a fact.
Might get us into trouble big time eventually. ;-)

SPf mods don't make the policy there... ;-)

SP itself needs to take the scrutiny!

Until SP gives proper releases and facts, I see no problem with members giving what info they have at hand? -O-

Guys, I thought this was about conservation, and not Gipetto, and if his statements are fact. Please will someone join me at Hazyview so I can take you to the mills supplying the poles. =O:

Not much difference between SP and here where the bunch of old skinnerbekke is sitting behind closed doors and chatter about all others. ^0^

My queries have been forwarded to SANParks PR and waiting for response. If the Croc Bridge is not that wide for these trucks it will be interesting to see if damage were caused by them and the following floods this week. Such a trip to please one company can be very expensive to SANParks.

The bridge is 3.1 meter wide. Now I am not sure what is the width of the truck and agree with RP that it can be very close. Croc Bridge in flood on 5 March. Photo taken by Jeff Lowe.

Quote from FB:
Adair Victoria Cross: Got a very gracious reply from Mr Abe Sibiya-Managing Executive at Kruger Park thanking me for alerting him to this situation, agreeing that is is not acceptable and saying that they will take the necessary steps to ensure that it does not happen again.Certainly a more positive response than we got before.
