I'm no expert, but those poles seem to be untreated, and still with bark on...so not telephone poles? -O- :-?

Also could be Moz plates and markings (Triangle etc)...doesn't look local? -O- :-?

And they are too thick,Telkom don't use such thick poles, and anyway where are they gonna use so many poles, Telkom will never replace such a lot of poles, or plant new ones for new routes....NEVER...... sorry SANparks try another story 0-

Just spoke to drinking buddy mentioned in previous posts. Moz transport company picking up poles fro Moz SA joint project. Poles went to Moz,.

Poles are butimen, or Tar treated.

Are your buddies aware of the mayhem the transport they had to do caused, Gipetto?
How do they feel about going through Kruger? (Not trying to point fingers! Just curious.)
