Re: Heavy vehicles using KNP as short cut due to protests
As it stands:
1. Only official SP reply is it was "essential goods" allowed through due to protests. (No official reply after discussions 10 days later.)
2. Facebook comment suggesting Mr Sibiya had no idea, and says it was unacceptable.
3. SP reply to media stating the trucks were delivering telephone poles to Kruger.
Normally, SP would have slammed 2 and 3 by now?

Sanparks answer to why they suddenly have a 'Cargo Carrier' tariff (TBA) on their tarrifs page.
Good Afternoon 'Mites;
In regards to the Cargo Carriers on the General Information on Tariffs on the website http://www.sanparks.org/parks/kruger/to ... ariffs.php,
Generally these will be buses but you also have from time to time suppliers and delivery trucks that might come to the park..

Gipetto,
Your are very vague on your answer. The only ones I can think of is the guys that pay my salary. They are quite essential.

Tourist on buses each pay their own conservation levy, or as per a group deal...that is nonsense!
you also have from time to time suppliers and delivery trucks that might come to the park..
They must be joking! There is a constant flow of delivery trucks to the camps! And they pay squat at the gate...it is part of their contract!
Please someone help SP!

Re: Heavy vehicles using KNP as short cut due to protests
If I was part of a group coming to KNP in a bus, I'd be highly offended to be called 'cargo'.

God put me on earth to accomplish a certain amount of things. Right now I'm so far behind that I'll never die.
