August 2011

We were on our way to Orpen and wanted to look, if the lions were still at the kill. As we got a detailed description where to find them it was not difficult, well there were several cars at the kill anyway so we just couldn’t drive past. Before we stopped at the Nsemani Dam and watched hippos lazily laying around and this lovely Ellie, Girivana.

24 November 2012.

Near Letaba, main road along the Letaba riverbed I found this nice tusker HLAHLENI
A beautiful tusker with classic shaped tusks and also a potential Big Tusker

Image

Coming out of the bush and ready to go to the riverbed he was posing nicely on the road in front of me… could it be better ?

Mahlahini on the H1-6 between Letaba camp and the S95 turn off on 20.02.2014 - Unfortunately due to the heat and the distance the best shots we could get from him.
