And the blackbirds have had their first breed already up and flying by the start of May.

One of the youngsters spent almost a whole afternoon with me - obviously feeling quite
comfortable in my presence. :-0

I have had a couple of redstarts nesting on a my balcony for a couple of years and now I see that there are several more couples around than before O\/ O\/

I see them in the morning from my bedroom window. Must remember to prepare the camera ;-)

I still have not seen a blue tit around :-? Must go for a walk in the forest ( Walk is the bad word O-/ )

Lucky you regarding the redstart! Would love to have them closer by.
Maybe that would increase my chance of a really good photo. And even of a male.
But those birds were never taught how to sit still. :-0
