So off to the Olifants Bridge!
This was in the year of the big floods, and we were shocked as to how the landscape had changed!
Clear water, no reeds and a lot of algae...sort of like a new beginning...but not very attractive, IMO!?
Here is Stark taking notes and stuffing his face with biltong/droëwors....he loves the stuff, and the KZN and Burgersfort Cartels had brought in prime quality uncut product across the provincial borders, hidden in their...let's not go into much detail!
The little loop down to the Timbavati once on heads back to camp:
Stark: "You know (munch munch) thish musht be the unluckiesht (glug glug) vehicle to be in in the entire hishtory of Kruger!"
RP: "Well, I wouldn't say that..."
Stark: "Careful that elephant! Ash I wash shaying..."
We really had a great time, without seeing many animals that afternoon...which is what Kruger is about? Elephant did chase us around on the way back, too dark for pics!
