The leopard had his back broken and was seen 3 days ago with broken back the first time, dragging itself over the road. Yesterday morning the lion pride did attack the injured leopard whilst injured and he faught back, and the lions left him alone and made a kill about 800meters from the Spruit.
I have photos of him injured that I would not post, but I am glad the animal got put down. He was a great specimen and to see him suffer was not a nice sight.
Lubyelubye Leopard
Re: Lubyelubye Leopard
We were lucky enough to see him once but unlike STF's stunning sighting, he was feeling antisocial that day!

Lubyelubye Tribute
...a tribute from all those whose lives he touched with his grace, charm and beauty. This guy shared a little of his world, however inadvertently, with many of us, allowing us a glimpse into a place wild and free.
Sleep easy beautiful boy, you will be missed by so many... But, such is the way of the warrior, and for us mere humans, you will always be a legend.
Now, on to happier hunting grounds!
Rest in Peace.
