Thanks General! I agree, I prefer to see the unusual but it does get frustrating when sightings of anything are few and far between!General Gump wrote:BT, a great variety of photos

That one was running through the camp site so it was a lucky sighting. The other big spider I saw at Tsendze was actually a Huntsman Spider.Pumbaa wrote:Rally love your hyaenas, BluTuna,
the secratary bird, the verreaux and how fortunate to spot a baboon spider Any hints on were to look for them will be very much appreciated

Re: BT on the trail of the mythical Pangolin
Day 9 continued.
Watching a dead, treeclimbing Impie.
Our patience was rewarded and the princess appeared.
She ripped off a chunk of meat and departed.
But she was back 5 minutes later.
I think she was getting frustrated with the position of the carcass and she tried to pull it down. She got a good grip and started to tug.
She was tugging so hard that her back feet came off the tree.
And then she lost her grip and fell.
We waited a while longer but she didn't reappear so we went back to the bridge for a golden sunset.
The road back to Balule.
At the Hyaena den, supper was being served.
Back at Balule, under the eaves of the ablution block; a pair of House Sparrows.
And Little Swifts.
