Flutters, I think that has to do with the TB research.
Sometimes it’s not until you don’t see what you want to see, that you truly open your eyes.

yup, there are quite a few branded buffs in KP. The brand indicates TB free buff, born on a buff breeding farm

Either this Buff horned a fruiting tree or it could be the result of a parasite infection?

There was some discussion on social media regarding this 'blood' on the buffs boss.Richprins wrote:Any ideas?

It could be that he pushed his head into a carcass to bite off his meal.

Or he could rub his boss against a tree which has red wood just under the layer of bark.
There was another pic though of a piece of 'bollie' on the boss. That, I think, might be a bit difficult to explain.

I also saw this same discussion going on somewhere else but can't find it now...had quite a good explanation.

What Dewi said sounds quite logical, which does nor mean that there are not other explanations

Re: Tamboti Tented Camp
There is always a lot of animals around Tamboti in the evening so you don't even need to go all the way to the Tarred H7 for a late drive ..This ol Buff was seen 300 metres from the camp gate
