Don't worry.
There is more than one way to skin a cat.
Maybe Edna can help a bit here.

Re: Taxi Busted for Various Offences By Tourist in KNP
Time for a bit of follow up on the incident.
It seems that the KNP staff at the gates reception are upset with me. Normally I would be greeted with big smiles and some casual chat, well none of them want to speak to me. They must have been taken to task about what happened. To them I apologise, as they were the ones that did the right thing and in a professional manner.
The security guards were the ones that made the mistake letting the taxi in, and they happy to chat to me and give me info.
From what In heard today from one of the security guys, which I think is the main one at the gate, the taxi driver was fined. Please don't quote me on this as it is hear say. The driver was apparently fined R3500 and the security lady that let the taxi in, with the idea that they were going to the staff village, has had a charge laid against her.
Now I ask you with tears in my blue eyes, why the hell can't William Mabasa just come clean and tell the truth. At least if he does it will look as if he is doing something to correct mistakes. I spoke to quite a few KNP staff members today at various camps, you don't want to know what they think of Mabasa.

The real down side of SPs actions is that if their staff are constantly taken to task for actioning concerns raised by AW members, then how long before they start ignoring concerns being raised by normal everyday tourists. If SP keeps up with this childish game they are only going to hurt themselves in the end (and unfortunately the wildlife they are tasked to protect).Richprins wrote:I get the same now with "needs attention", sometimes, Sprocks...Sprocky wrote:Time for a bit of follow up on the incident.

Agreed, cwf! But we are also normal everyday tourists, and actually have better things to do! Just trying to help?ceruleanwildfire wrote: The real down side of SPs actions is that if their staff are constantly taken to task for actioning concerns raised by AW members, then how long before they start ignoring concerns being raised by normal everyday tourists. Oh no, don't get me wrong, I still think we should be doing what we have been doing. I just wish SP wouldn't be such ....'s about it. Keep up the good work AW members . Grow up SP .
