bandile mkhize looked quite confused and struggled to give any form of credible answers...

Agreed - I also saw it and things certainly didn't look good. It's often hard to tell the real story with Carte Blanche. Carte Blanche can be skew at times...and officials are petrified of talking to them, IMO, sometimes.
But money is money, and especially the drained wetlands is unacceptable!
