Just caught up again RP.... getting old, it seems.
Is your new forum name going to be Stormchaser then? Or maybe Cloudscraper after the Cisticola?
Nice Impala pics with the youngsters. And some great scenics.
The Eagle looks like Lesser-spotted or possibly Wahlberg's? Not enough detail in the pic to be sure.
Missed out on driving that new road as we headed South from Malalane.

Call me Twister!

What new road, Deli? The S114 is ancient...it used to be the main Malelane-Skukuza Road, before the tar version, I think?

On to the weir!

GB: "Shtop! Stop!"
Bl: "stop"
RP: "What is it!"
GB: "Look there!"
RP: "Aah! Old flood debris! you know, I have been visiting Kruger for 300 years, and this is my 1000...."
Bl: "No. It's a bird!"
I have very few bird pics, but this one was close!

Never seen them able to sit on a vertical surface like that!

Anyway, lovely scenery and birds from a birds' eye view?

Another bird! The Levaillant's Rock Clutcher!

More geese!

Shortly, we turned off onto the Biyamiti loop...
RP: "We won't see anything here, but the scenery is great!"
GB: "Ok! I can't find the Rockcatcher in the musical Bird Book! So will guess!"
RP: "Please.."
GB: "Cacaaaa! Cacaaaaa"
Then a rare pic of a bug in flight! I had to focus repeatedly before it got into focus....very difficult!
