Hi BJ! Thanks for joining me and I'm glad you are enjoying the show. The HB was something very special; they always are but this was a sighting we'll be bragging about for many years :-)

Hey BT, had lots to catch up on. ;-)

Absolutely awesome badger sighting and pics!! ^Q^ ^Q^ I'm very jealous!! ^0^

Lucky you got to see the Nsemani lions...we missed them in October. :O^

Amazing pics of the bugs as usual, and great scorpion pics. \O I think we need to invest in one of those lights if only to avoid stepping on the critters!

Hi Flutts, you've been away for too long.

The HB was something very special and we enjoyed the lions and the bugs and the bats and everything else. I think the torch is a great idea as an anti-scorpion measure ^Q^

Day 5 Wednesday 13 November : Balule.

Up at sparrow's and out as the gate opened.

We drove around the block to Olifants but saw almost nothing. Repairs on the low level bridge are underway but even Titus at Balule doesn't know when they will be finished.

At Olifants there wwere a lot of birds that were disturbed by something. I didn't see what it was but one of the birds was a Grey-backed Cameroptera which may be a new one for me!

Also running about was this Tree Squirrel.
