I must say I didn't post a lot of sightings and still some nice things to come. We ofcourse also spotted animals not on any photos visible and so we saw a few nocturnal. Including but not only: a civet and a genet. We were walking at the river when at skukuza, looking at that cane rat when we saw some other eyes popping up in the night. Of course we were busy watching and those eyes were trying to hide.
We had a good discussion and decided it had to be a civet (we did see it fairly good) but well, our first night in the wild like this and of course we didn't know anything yet how everything would be. We didn't bring our cameras (normally it is rather useless, but well... Kruger is different) so no photos.
As well as a genet at Balule. We were sitting there all alone and enjoying it, when we heard a hard sound out of the bush. And suddenly everyone was around our tent, looking for it. Of course someone spotted it and we saw it running away - a lovely genet.
And lastly an animal which I loved to see, because it was clearly on the hunt. We were having dinner at the restaurant at Letaba (the meat in SA is said to be fabulous ;) and we had fried pickles?!) and we were walking back after dinner or were on our way to the restaurant. As said, I can't recall that much at the moment anymore

Well we were shining the flashlight and saw some eyes popping up at the nearby riverbank. Of course lovely to see, since you know there is an animal at that moment. And suddenly, there it was. A ratel! Our last nights and it delivered us something beautiful: a ratel. We knew it was not seen much and well... We enjoyed all the 10 seconds we saw it

I will try to do a big update next monday with lots of missed photos and the last (memorable) moments of the trip.
I will come back soon, plans have a little delay at the moment, so I am hoping next year but otherwise it will be the year after. Am definitely going back, because Kruger is just a special place and isn't comparable to anything I have seen. But first the trip to South-East Asia (Thailand and Malaysia) where we plan to visit a few big national parks and hope to see some snakes, mammals, birds, reptiles or whatever we can see.
I have acquired some knowledge now about photography so I will try to make some better photos

And of course (when time is ready) I will give an update, hopefully with some great first impressions.
See you all soon! :D
