The snared trunk bits normally drop off, eventually...it is terrible, as most of the ellie's nerves are right there, and the trunk has to be used continuously.

Have seen them take food "offered" from other ellies, not a problem, and they adapt reasonably well, walking into the river to drink via the mouth, and feed so too. They are very clever indeed! \O

We left the poor elephant and drove through this amazing forest of fever trees

Image

Then we arrived at Crooks Corner and saw all these flat creatures relaxing in the sun

The Limpopo river is dry but the Levhuvhu river is flowing a little

Image

We left crooks corner and stopped at the border crossing at Pafuri, SO didn't want me to go closer as she was afraid that an alien ship will look too suspicious O**
Image

We found this poor guy and by the looks of it he couldn't cross the border and eventually lost his head =O: =O:
Image

Between Punda Maria and Babalala we found this tuskers...... I think it was Mpenza -O-
Image

And this tusker crossing the road at Babalala but he was on a mission and kept walking. Any ID Aat??
Image

Our next stop Babalala..

Time to relax and enjoy the bush ..0..

Next trip to the bush??

Let me think......................
