Great birds to photograph, they are quite easy to follow when they are coming in to land. And there are lots of them, as you'll see in a later posting!

Bushveld Jock wrote:Great stuff and wonderful pics. Lovely sighting of the baby gemsboks, birds at Cubitje Quap and BBJ. Amazing timing to spot a geelslang on the hunt. More stunning shots of AWC and lion sighting. Might be the same gang we saw in April 2015 (busy with my TT ). Bee-eates also one of by favourites ^Q^ ^Q^ ^Q^

I've already made a knott about the owls nest and hope to see it in 5 weeks time. O\/ O\/ O\/
It's on the left when heading south! If you are lucky, there may be chicks visible by then!

Good luck with the heat - it was already 40C when we were there in September!

Unusual cloud pics, BT! X#X

And great Wile.e coyote! lol

Those sociable weaver nests end up being a haven for all sorts of inmates, if memory serves, and the weavers have to fix breakages for non-paying residents! Ironic! lol

I enjoyed the BBJ too, it expended lots of energy for no result!
