"Tourist friendly" lions?
Hope no one will get the idea that they are tame and touchable
Nice sighting of them though! And the ellie.

God put me on earth to accomplish a certain amount of things. Right now I'm so far behind that I'll never die.

The herd comes this way

the lions watching and focussing on the bull in the background who follows the females

the frist elephant cows have passed and the lions get nervous

Have finally caught up with your TT, and am really enjoying seeing so many things I haven't seen, such as the red duiker, samangos, and too many birds to count.
Thulani seems to be a truly bright spot whose tireless work will be remembered by all those whose lives he has, and will, touch in his lifetime. A real hero to the animals and wildlife. Thanks, Thulani
and Toko
for introducing this impressive young man to all of us.

Re: Taking Tembe Kids on Safari with Thulani

Very impressive male Lion Maine .

Interesting to see young elephant I understood that the elephant herds in Tembe were all on birth control ... guess its not 100% effective also probably difficult to administer to all elephants
