We left these elephants to enjoy their drink and carried on

At Mazithi dam we found 2 more lions. We could only see 2 females hiding between the bushes

Image

Not easy to spot them.

At the dam we saw this huge herd of Zebra making their way down to have a drink

On the right hand side of the dam we found more sleeping lions. The noise and dust of the zebras didn't even bother these lazy lions

Image

We needed a bathroom so we headed for Tshokwane but had two more stops......................................

While driving and chatting about how lucky we have been so far I spotted a movement on the side of the river. Another lion

Image

She disappeared quickly so we carried on. Then just about 1km before Tshokwane another traffic jam. What could it be this time -O-

:-0 :-0 :-0 :-0 Another lion

We eventually reached Tshokwane and took our bathroom break. Bought more ice for the cooler box and some sandwiches for the two little aliens which were hungry again. :O^

After that break we headed for Skukuza...............................................

Interesting, Alpheus!

Zebra and wildebeest theoretically migrate a bit on the eastern boundary of the Central section, going down from Satara to Mlondozi/Lower Sabie for the winter! \O

Lions at every waterhole is a sign of drought, and that's going to carry on till October in those areas, methinks!
