Melvin had settled for a while down by the fence-line, but Gibson kept looking that direction from time to time

Image

Before long Melvin decided to get up again and was heading back towards the road. I managed to get down to a good spot to watch him approach O/\ O/\

Image

I ran out of reverse camera zoom fairly quickly as he decided to make a beeline for my car
A friend kindly sent me this pic as Melvin came to say hello at my wound-down-window O:V

Image

Not surprisingly Melvin was quickly causing a queue of cars so I decided the best option was to get back up to Gibson and from there work out if Melvin was going to say hi to his brother or continue eating... it turned out to be the latter

Whilst feeding he came up with a unique way of avoiding the paparazzi ^Q^ ^Q^ =O: =O:

The last pic with the caption is hilarious =O: =O:

I love the pic of Melvin next to your car. With so much space he is walking right next to the road :-? Does he like cars? lol

Might be a trustworthy explanation if it were not impossible to believe =O: =O:

After hiding from the paparazzi there was plenty to lick off his face O:V

Then the chomping continued ^Q^

But some of the tasty bits involved lifting the carcass by the neck... which gave some incredible perspective on the size of his paws & claws

After posing for a bit Melvin wandered back towards Gibson

Before long both lions were flat out again and it was time to head south as a route out the park X#X

Not that I want to contradict you, Mel but I do not think than Melvin is handsome  Maybe it has to do with his bloody face and stringy mane lol
