The being small bit makes it a cutie, but the gross stuff on it... rather not lol But I know what you mean \O

What a lion sighting... incredible! They had everything - from small to big - and they were active for a change. O:V

Superb again, Pumbaa!

That last lion is very pale indeed! Especially assuming he is related to the other two?

Maybe we must send it on... -O-

We still could not believe our luck – Man - What an incredible sighting. Whilst the lions stayed harmoniously together

Image

the white headed vultures waited already peacefully

Image

and a jackal who waited whilst the buffet had opened a bit farer away came as well a bit closer to suss things out

Image

and to our great delight the small cubs also returned from what they had to do according to mom either from drinking or grooming or using the cat toilet - they definitely did not take a bath that was for sure!

Image

besides the real small ones a couple of slightly larger cubs appeared and they still looked really cleaner than nearly all the other cubs.

Image

Obviously the larger cubs were allowed to upbraid the smaller ones

Image

whilst mom had the superintendence

Image

and the large males started a nap under a comfortable bush the small cubs at least one of them discovered a tree stump which suits perfectly to also practise the climbing

Image

Image

and where one curious kitten is testing something out another one is not that far

Image 7518

although the descend from same still need a bit of exercise.

Image

Meanwhile lots of the lions had their fill with a more than filled up belly.

We really loved to watch all the cute rascals

Image

either large or small

Image

and some even found a mound only for him/her

Image

Image

although another smaller one was once again not that far and watch this size of a paw at that small age already!

Image

Image

Unbelievable but true we even found an extreme clean cub between all the dirty ones. Same obviously overslept the opening of the buffet.

Image

Everywhere we watched we could observe lions so we had a more than great time

Image

Image

Image

in simply watching and take shot after shot but we in fact did not always take pictures sometimes we simply sat back and enjoyed the lion’s presence and watched their bahviour.

Image

to be continued.....
