Oh nan, it is just so beautiful there. Peaceful and tranquil.

After recovering I managed to pose for a photo. Note the Movember Moustache.

A last photo of the waterfall before tackling the climb back up to reception.

By the time the worst of the climb was over I was totally exhausted and had to stop and rest every 5 minutes. The heat was unbearable. Joan kept on offering to run on up to reception and get a bottle of water. This I declined as it was not much further to go. The truth is I wanted a helicopter to come and fetch me. There was also a lovely little restaurant at reception where we could have a bite to eat and something very cold to drink.

We saw some of the horses they use for horse back trails.

We eventually arrived at reception at 16:15. Two and a quarter hours to walk a one hour trail.

We immediately headed for the restaurant only to find it closed.

We quenched our thirst at a tap and then headed back to the hotel about an hour away. Fortunately, after about 10 minutes driving we came across a small store and managed to buy something to eat and drink. $O/\$ $O/\$

We got back to the hotel at about 18:00 and collapsed on the bed. A quick shower and a lovely dinner soon had us feeling better.

A thunder storm looming up over the mountains on our way to the dining room.

The next morning, after a hearty breakfast, we headed for home.

I just have to do this to you guys - the old railway bridge across the Vaal river at Villiers.

The "gentle slopes" are gentle until you try to climb them

The place is beautiful though $\O$
