If one looks ten pages back or so, this thing has been deurtrapped? It is not a big secret that tour operators get preferential treatment with bulk bookings, at a fee?

Best then for SP to just say that, and on we go...phone the operators! \O

Ok, then as you state they need to admit this and list the tour companies so that people can use them to book their trips. Why the "secret" if this is really the case -O-

Heaven forbid if you try and do a booking that happens to fall across two months. You have to do for the one month and then wait an entire month to book the rest of your holiday and then things fall apart very rapidly as you find that before you can book the new month there is nothing available and yet it appears that the tour companies are allowed to bridge two separate months with continuous bookings. It has led to many problems over the years especially in September and October!

It reminds me of that "Little Britain" skit where the answer is always "Computer says no"! O**

So, computer said "no" to me this morning as well. Apparently, due to Easter holiday next year being divided between March and April,
both month will open up for booking on the 20th April 2017.

I had called a Satellite Office and that particular outlet had no idea about this arrangement until the calls like people from me kept rolling in
and they tried to work their computers which obviously was a total fail.

Not sure how long this one Booking Periods exists... I only found it today and it seems that - at least not all - Satellite Offices weren't aware of it either.

I'm not critising that SanParks merged some booking dates. The way it's laid out there is actually quite helpful to gap holidays that stretch into the next month. But it would have been nice to have it broadly announced -O-
