Oh goodness,..

Let me bottom out, smoke a zoll and
set myself aside in greater creative
verse.!!

Do you all know the game of chess?
If not, then take a hike elsewhere!!

If yes, then you will be comfortable
staring at a board of squares, usually
finished along the surround by some
woodwork,..

The squares representing battle ground!!
Black squares and white squares not
necessarily in contempt. Call it the "playing
ground"!!

Two opposing situations, kings queens and all
back row, before both a straight stripe of would
be, ignoramouses, called pions,....

These little idiots get shoved, shunted and sacrificed
at the press of a button!!

Now need I go any further??, or perhaps maybe, maybe
do you regress from having a finger poking your head in
the right direction. There are kings, queens and bishops
and all that other attachment but end of day there will
always be the silly bastard standing there,.. =O: =O:

Call the idiot what you like, fact is there are many O/\

Big day looming ahead.
Initially under a tree somewhere in Groenkloof,..
Then unto the higher boardwalks, where picturesque
Mafunjane roams, witness like a silent fly on the wall.

The Shangoni gate will be discussed, already mitigated!

Under the tree did happen,...
We had the pleasure of meeting with Wim Scheepers,
and after some deliberation and clarification it would
seem that some kind of consensus was reached. Although
I question the legal route, still I am the belief that it is
vitally important to have our concerns on record. It is
imperative. However the further I go I have reason to
become more and more disconcerted in the legal system.

After much deliberation and effort it would seem that
Kruger park does not enjoy the privileges of higher legal
protection other than a very basic act, namely NEMA.
(National Environmental Management Act).

The practitioner, Thabang, Envirolutions, managed quite a fine
performance. Still I feel much let down by legislation.

This time round there were Sanparks representatives present.
Namely Blake Schrader and another lady, did not get the name.

The meeting did however produce some pleasant surprises.
Not only the presence of SANparks officials, and the two of them
very accommodating, A new sense of road construction is under
the loupe. The idea is to move away from black tar and replace it
with a more natural look by utilizing other materials and construction
methods.

With regard to Traffic impacts. The practitioner will be conducting a
further in depth study. They realize the shortcoming.

Also according to Mr Schraader he has no budget allocated as yet for
further road upgrading, in fact the "black top" for now only a suggested
implication, and it would seem, should there be need for it, subject to
traffic volumes. That stretch of tar road in excess of 160 to 180 million
Rands in construction costs.

Another surprise and iterated, The PDZ concept. SANPARKS have no
financial obligations outside of it's boundaries. Although the BAR,
Basic Assessment Report seems to cover a lot of activity outside it's
boundaries I was reassured that SANparks Have no jurisdiction at all
in the buffer zone. All activity expressed will within the boundaries!!
Basically a funding scheme has not even been established.

It would seem that all agreed and were positive about the need for this
gate regarding the socio economics and principles that other gates and
local populace enjoy.

It was a good meet, the best so far, yet somehow Kruger can rely on
NEMA for security,..

For now,...

Brilliant work, H.! X#X X#X X#X

And a big thankyou again.

Blake is quite down to earth, if I remember, but the higher-ups have other agendas, methinks, so feel sorry for the ground-level custodians?

I think litigation is on the table regarding bigger strategy, makes sense?

As said, BARs and EIAs seem to be pushed through at Minister level... O-/

Thanks again, old mate. 0/0
