More animals enjoying rare shade in the sand road, wonder if it's got to do with lack of tampans? -O- ..0..
yes Lappet and White back Vultures, both lot of them \O

I think you are right, I found that : (if I understood you correctly)
Kalahari sand tampan, is one of some 37 species in the genus Ornithodoros and is a soft tick ...
maybe better to stay in the sand... less dangerous \O

I think they stay in the sand under established trees on purpose as animals come to the shade?

The Vultures are still there, I look for the responsibles again. Ah ! well, they're all lying under a big tree.
Fortunately they move a little bit, it is practically impossible to see them, it is Hanri and the gang, finally, I have been waiting for days to watch them O/\ O/\ O/\

Few reckless Sprinbgoks venture in front of the tree, they have seen each other, the Cheetahs have already eaten and in principle the Antelopes don't risk anything. I wait, nothing happens.
When everything returns to normal, I continue my way.

I go home late, prepare my equipment, tonight Oryx, Springboks and Steenbok succeed one another

And again south, to Kamqua to see the Hyenas before returning to the loops of the north. Some big birds, Bateleurs, Tawny, Snake-Eagle and a tiny Pygmy Falcon, I've never seen so few 0*\
Again a look at Kamqua and there, instead of the Hyenas who may have gone hunting, I find a group of Giraffes.

I learn that Jacques will be there for the last night at Urikaruus and during my next stay, great news O\/

Then I take advantage of my large terrace ... beautiful sunset.

At midnight a Hyena wakes me up, the camera trap has put it in box.

found again some birds
