YELLOW MONGOOSE FAMILY

These sweet little ones were very shy at first, but after we turned off the car and remained quiet they came back out into the road and played with one another. Don't know if they are parent-child or siblings.

GIRAFFE FAMILY

Whenever we stay at Urikaruus we always set aside one evening to go to the picnic area for our evening meal since it is so close to camp and we can make gate closing time easily.

It is very quiet, we are always the only ones there, and really enjoy being completely in the outdoors, sans fences, as dusk sets in.

Visitors vary, (including caracal), but this year we were privileged to share the area with a family of giraffes with a tiny new one.
