I don't have any good pics, but these show there were youngsters around, unlike springboks, gemsboks, etc. where all we saw were adults.

For you smart birder types - just because I have an adult and juvenile Stilts in the same photo, does that necessarily mean the adult is their parent??
I mean, is it possible juvs. old enough to be on their own end up in the same water point as an unrelated adult?

it seems not possible they nest in a semi aride place... must be some learning to come and come again in the Kgalagadi
