Fantastic!!! O\/ O\/ O\/

Dewi, is the lack of snow there normal for this time of year, or is it decreasing? :-?

Amazing. I could see the bear even without full view (but probably cause you said it was there).

Can't wait for the Boo picture. You're keeping us in suspense.....

The glacier is amazing. Really would like to see one up close and personal.

Andree is probably family of Levaillant...so sucks to him!

But seriously...very educational, Dewi!

I don't know if you comprehend how intriguing your bipolar experiences (to coin leachy's phrase) are to us caged Saffies, or others around the world!?

It is a highlight of the forums for me, and thanks very much! ;-)

So how fat are you now, exactly!? :-?

Flutts, the snow melts to varying degrees every year during the Summer, it used to be only the South of the archipelago that melted this much, and the sea-ice would still be around in the area of my last post just a couple of years ago at this time of year, but due to climate change, the ice is now retreating further North and the amount of snow melt is increasing annualy.

Jill, The Boo! pic is back a couple of pages in case you missed it. \O I'll be getting closer to the glaciers and ice-fronts later on in this TT. ;-)

Hang on a sec RP, I'll go and jump on the scales for you. =O:

Sprocks. she would have to be blind to take me out on a date. =O:

Crikey  89 Kilos. That's far too close to 14 stone in old money. 0*\

RP, I get some weird looks from work colleagues when I tell them where I've been. Funnily enough, I think that what I do is quite normal and fret that I'm boring people to bits harping on about everything, but get just as intriqued by you Saffies being so close to the parks and wild areas and would love to be in your shoes so close to the wild.

They are "full size" Nan, I reduce mine to 640 pixels before putting them on Photobucket. \O

The next one will be a tad closer than this one. \O
