I think the bird may be a Rattling Cisticola. I have posted on Birds of Namibia FB group ...I will let you know the outcome. :)

Very very nice to eat the fruit , make jam , and , leaves ( those hairy prickly flat things ) , peeled , cut into squares , boiled and cooked in sugar syrup makes a delicious preserve same as melon preserve
