Okay... a proper holiday for the Browns doesn't seem to happen without a proper starting drama 0*\
I'm sorry to say that I had a good lol while reading about your latest antics. But I am tense about that medical thing O-/

Also, I seem to remember a passage in the introductory part about a lack of leopards, or something in that sense...

O** O** O** is all I'm saying.

^0^

(What a start!)

God put me on earth to accomplish a certain amount of things. Right now I'm so far behind that I'll never die.

\O Great that your forced patience paid off wonderful to get a Leopard sighting on your own just a pity it was ruined by the staff bus @#$ ,we encountered them coming through from Satara - Orpen a few times in Jan and they definitely don't hang about ..

will await some of R.p insight into why there's a horizontal Boon , think he might have a good explanation O** O** lol

Thanks Lisbeth, Pumbaa, Flutts, RP, Ratel, Mel & Roger for popping in and for taking the time to comment X#X

We are about to enter into a leopard drought of around 72 hours, so it's going to move fast 0:

30th Lower Sabie

As we were in the EH huts at Lower Sabie there’s no cooking facilities and one can’t braai for breakfast, well I could, but most, including my clan, wouldn’t be that keen. We have also found that the picnic sites down south in holiday season are more like a city centre (besides those on the S36) so the plan this morning was again the golf club, but we packed some rolls and the intention was to order takeaway hot chips at the club and then to sit at one of the tables in the nursery and have a picnic hot chip roll breakfast which isn’t very healthy, however it’s easy, cheap and peaceful.

We decided this morning to take a slightly different route to the club via the S21/S114/H1-1/H11 and then to return to Lower Sabie later in the day via the H4-1.

We stopped briefly at Sunset dam for the locals but the first pics of the morning only started opposite Lubyelubye as a lioness was walking down the middle of the road towards us.

The lioness seemed to be searching for the rest of the pride as she cruised down onto the rocks and started calling and then after 2 minutes and no response she returned to the road and continued calling before crossing and disappearing deeper into the bush.

The S21 can be a long boring road at times and today was one of those days so we only stopped for pics of a giraffe, a dikkop, which are always around on this road and lastly a few klippies.

As we arrived at Renosterkoppies a gang of OSV’s came into view so we knew something was on the go, but I expected more than a single male lion rolling around in the distance, however while there we overheard the OSV’s guys communicating and there was a mention of 3 more male lion just 2km down the S114, so I quickly started up and ducked off down the road before the major gang.

The OSV gang arrived shortly after us though and it quickly became an irritating sighting so we moved on towards the golf club stopping only for a few of the normal crowd on the way.

To be continued

This is terrible BC. How are you supposed to find Leopards when you are constantly having to stop for pesky Lions?? =O: --00--

Great pics of the Lioness on the road, and that last shot of the male Lion is a real stunner. ^Q^

Klipspringer is always a special sighting in my opinion. \O
