SAD NEWS!
Last night the white lion of the Giraffe Pride in Timbavati was killed by two intruding male lions from Kruger Park.
Very sad as she was the last wild white lioness that is known.
Now the only other known wild white lion is a 3.5-4 year old young male in the Shishangaan pride in Singita lebombo(KNP)

Another white lion has been born in Greater Kruger, spotted by guests at the Ngala Safari Lodge.

When they are so small they are cute, when they grow up much less.

One thing crosses my mind, that a birth of white lions cannot be normal. Or have they always existed, and are hidden somewhere in the genes of the female lions?
