Found bigger pics of the tusker at Nkovakhulu in the far north, 2009:

You can see he is not too old, and VERY big in stature!

It's difficult to judge how big this one is ;-)

Here is another possible tusker although this ones tusks are a lot thinner. Seen at Mooiplaas.

steamtrainfan,
The tusker you posted yesterday does not look like Letaba 1 any more - the Letaba 1 notch on the RH ear is not there - no we will have to wait for Aat.

The tusker you posted today is the renown Kaleka - see Mopani section on Aat's TUSKERSOFAFRICA.

RP - I see you also went digging in your archives - good looking tusker that but I think not yet on Aat's TUSKERSOFAFRICA.

Hi steamtrainfan,
The last one is Kaleka, no doubt about that.
The other one near Letaba: I can;t ID him immediately.

Hi RP,
This one is Machachule , he probably died in 2012 or early 2013. He was old and thin and never got pics of him after 2012. He was always around Shingwedzi and often seen. I moved him to the tuskers of yesterday section.

Thank you very much 100 ponder and aat.

Could this one also be a tusker. Seen on the H1-6 close to Mopani Camp.
