As far as I’m aware FB one can book drives, etc once your trip is paid for in full and not at the deposit stage, so if you pay in full 10 months in advance, you should be able to book a drive.

It’s the 1st of September so bookings open for August 2013, but as it’s a Saturday one is only permitted to book on Monday. I just phoned head office to confirm this.

Now please check out the availability section of the SANParks site for August 2013, which is open for viewing, but not booking.

You will notice that for Skukuza only 11 camp sites are available for the 2nd of August, no bungalows from the 4th to the 7th, etc, etc.

For Lower Sabie on the 2nd and 3rd only 11 camp sites and single sleeper huts.

I again ask: How is this possible when bookings haven’t opened.
